Never Fall in Love with a Prostitiute

Ah Costa Rica, although this could apply to any country.

Prostitutes are mercenaries; they will take advantage of whatever's put in front of them. Most guys just don't get it until they are financially or emotionally broke from trying to have a relationship with a prostitute.

Kindness is seen as weakness and generosity is something to be exploited. Know this: the mindset of someone who grows in poverty, and fighting for a mouth full of food each day, is completely different to that of someone raised in an affluent society. Theirs isn't a world of fairness; it's a world of doing whatever it takes to get what they want. They are emotionally much tougher than the average tourist. Lying and stealing is a way of life to them. They are admired by their friends, family and their real lover by how good they are extorting money from YOU. I have listened to them talk and laugh about the sucker they are seeing, their "boyfriend."

Most relationships between prostitutes and foreigners end up going bad and the reason is always the same; you can never give, or provide, enough because they (the prostitute) have no financial discipline - enough is never enough. When you finally get dumped for an economic upgrade, you can breathe a huge sigh of relief; only ever consider how much you've saved by not having the prostitute leaching off you anymore. She is your girlfriend as long as you keep dumping money in the meter., then she goes back to her real life, her real boyfriend or husband. It was never love, it was about the money! Also, you will never be accepted into their culture by her family and friends.

With your help, your girl (prostitute) lives a life many dream about; a stipend every week or month, maybe a condo and a car. You would think it would be enough but, no, when the sugar daddy goes back home she's trawling bars and discos looking for another sucker.

The idea that she's just using a guy to further her position on this planet never enters her head. All her friends (prostitutes) admire her and see her as a role model. Prostitutes aren't interested in your welfare, their agenda is themselves and the bunch of parasites feeding off them; their family and boyfriends or in many many case their girlfriends. Most of them really don’t like men.

An interesting survey would be to see what percentage of prostitutes, in a relationship with a foreigner, actually do something to help that foreigner and are actually contributing to the relationship. I would be surprised if it's even 5%. Prostitutes only take, they don't contribute. Their entire lives revolve around themselves and the satisfaction of their world of sex for money. It’s not love. The one you found is not different. A whore is a whore is a whore.

A day in the life of a prostitute is normally something like this; get up late, eat some with a couple of prostitute friends or family, going to the beauty parlor and then go and waste more money adding to the mountains of shoes, clothes, make-up, mobile phones and useless paraphernalia, they have. They then have sex with their boyfriend or girlfriend and then go to work. You are their job and nothing else. The girl you met is not different. Don't embarrass yourself by telling your friends or family she is different and not really a prostitute. She is doing it by choice, no one forced her to prostitute. It's the easy way out for a lazy person.

When a guy gets beyond the need to constantly have sex with a prostitute you can stand back and objectively see that they really are, pretty much, pitiful individuals whose sole interest is in themselves. I suppose there will be a lot guys out there who take objection to what is written here but, before doing a dummy spit, be honest with yourselves; aside from the sex, what are you in a relationship with a prostitute for? Do they work with you as a team to help build a life together, are they there for you when you need them or do they just take? How many times have you made plans with them and they do not show up?

Every guy I know who's resided in Costa Rica for a decent length of time, and has got beyond the point of doing the thinking with his penis, NEVER enters into a relationship with a prostitute ever again. Why would you when, aside from what they've got between their legs, there's just no advantage to you for doing so?

It's hardly surprising when one reads, or hears, about a prostitute who, when given the opportunity to go better their position, dumps their original sponsor and go for an economic upgrade. That's what they do. You are nothing but a pay check, something to be used on their way to getting what they want; it's all just a game to them. The problem is that there's usually never an end game to the game and that's why, eventually, most of them end up working back in a bar. Their greed usually sees them screw it up for themselves. They're never satisfied with what they've got and it doesn't matter how much you give them, and the parasites feeding off them, it will never be enough.
